Show Steer (Pic)

Was posting some pics on the Show Board at Cattle Today site. Figured I might as well post them over here as well. Not sure how many people are interested in Show cattle but since I showed some heifers might as well show our new Steer. Tear him up!

He's a good looking critter, straight and thick, with beef in all of the right places. I like him.

Looks pretty good. The only thing I see is his shoulder could be pulled in to make his front end a little cleaner. Other than that he looks good.

Nice steer, but I do have a question though. Is it just me, or maybe the pictures just aren't quite right, but is his tail a tad bit on the short side?

Does look a little short, I wonder if when they clipped him before the sale the took to much off of it. I would have probably left it a little longer. If you are not not familiar with show calves they do cut the tail shorter. In the old days the balled it all up with glue but now they just cut it off and fluff it a little.

If you notice the grainy look in my pictures. I do not have a digital camera I scan existing pics so my scanner is getting a little worn our I think or needs cleaned. Been holding out to get a new computer and digital camera.
