Sure the heifers carry the Sitz name and are probably good ones.  But I watched the heifers sell and Joe G. kept saying the buyers had been buying them for years.  So it tells me the heifers must be okay or you wouldn't go back especially at those prices.  I also noticed most people only took a few at a time.  Maybe people pay more for the heifers planning on keeping their own $5000 bull out of them.

I agree with Justin.  Somebody offer me $2000 for my heifers and they would be long gone.  I would then be in the seats buying heifers back at $1200-$1400.  I would then end up with more heifers that I started with.  Just makes good business sense.
