Onto a Char female.
Main goal is some cool looking show ring calves. But I would also like them to be able to go to the feed lot if they aren't up to snuff for the ring.
We've had angusX smokies...they just don't have as much power as I think I could get from the LimX:
I've already promised my helping hand to my uncles cattle. So far, compensation hasn't been discussed...I didn't expect anything, but I think I'll try and convince him to get me a few straws of the "New Direction" bull.
So far I haven't come accross any holes in this idea. My main criteria is that they not be money losers if I have to send calves to the auction before they've been in a ring. Whattya think?
