Found out how to sneak things around my husband. He likes to "think" he is in charge  but I found a way around him recently.
Get a few beers in him and I can get pretty much what I want.
No I am not talking about jewlery or anything like that, I mean the good stuff.
Bull semen.
Now I'm not joking. This took alot of fast talking and some good timing.
He finally agreed that I could purchase some semen from GH Rambo 279R.

We have talked for years about what we want to improve in our herd and I am just tired of waiting for him to finally make up his mind. I figured a 6 year wait is long enough. I know I will mainly be doing the leg work and feeding the cows that we are going to AI, but if it gets us going in the right direction all the better.

Now if I can just find a way to sneak that woman hating cow on the cattle pot, things would be looking really good. :D

I can't believe you did that useally when a guy is drinking bull semen is'nt the type being used.

Good for you  I have never used the alchohol trick. But I know what you are talking about. It took me 5 years to get my first Shorthorn cows into the herd. I am more stubborn than him, and I finally wore him down. He's kinda broke in now, and sometimes I just say the heck with him and do what I want done. He gets over it.......

I have to be sneaky if I want to get anything done around here.
When he went up to Canada a couple of years ago I called a carpenter and got my chicken house built. I had waited for that for 6 years too.

Denny that would be one expensive drink.

Around here it's....

drunk and act like (is) an idiot always = me getting a new horse. :D
Now he doesn't drink anymore :? .
I guess he needs to be gone now..... seriously!

Buyer if I wait on him, nothing would get done.
While he was gone to Canada I also got lights in the barn above the pens. It's nice to be able to check a calf in a pen without needing a flashlight. Waited on that for 3 years. No I don't do electrical work. Get shocked once and your shy of it.
He had no idea until he got home and asked me what the heck had I been up to.

Oh Jiggers if only that was true for me. I love my horses, but I can never get him to let me have as many as I want. He freaks over the price of the ones I find.
