Snow!!!

Started snowing here about 6am.

Steadily coming down, we have about 3" in 3 hours already, no wind!!

Lucky You! We have about 3 feet of wind (25mph) and snow! We had to drive about 25 miles west (Ellicott), and visibility was 0 much of the time. Just nice to have some moisture, even if it is sideways!

Snowing hard here and wind blowing 30-35 gust to 45, 50 miles west of the Kansas line north of I-70. We really need the snow so I am not complaining about this. Not sure what we will get but better than nothing.

Had a corn truck show up to load corn right when it really started to snow and blow :roll:

Ended up with 7", it thawed out to 1/2" 0f water in the rain gauge.

Broke the cutting edge on the plow going over a cattle guard, so I know what I'm doing tommorow :roll:

My daughter lives near Kearny Nebraska said the snow is blowing sideways there.

We only got a couple inches I think but who can tell really with the wind blowing 50. Field of stalks next to beans or swathed stalks might have 6 inches worth of snow. Would be completely insane to be on the road tonight.

Ned Jr., that is a wonderful picture of the Herefords walking towards you in the snow. It would be a fine calendar picture if the mirror was cropped out.
