Snowy in the Big Muddy

Almost as white as the other day

I have been coaxing cows out of the badlands with pellets, getting them a little closer to home. Today was mild but it started to snow shortly after i left home. It is 5 miles north of the yard as the crow flys but a long way around dodging snow banks. Tomorrow the banks will all be in different places because of the horrid wind tonight. I am down to 11 cows but they were straight below me in a draw that they couldn't climb out of so they will have to go back down the draw and up a different one. If the wind goes down tonight they will probably be waiting for me on top of the hills tomorrow.
Those draws are probably 250 feet deep

WOW! Those are some serious conditions there BMR.Hope you're able to get the girls out of the coulee,before they get buried down in there .I guess there use to it,and probably get pretty handy at finding some kind of cover :???: .Let's us know the outcome.

Thats some nice rough cow country you got there. Lots of shelter in those coulees. Looks exactly like my stuff.
