Sold my calves

I only have a few but I was happy with them. Sold most of them yesterday. They averaged 718 lbs. Never have sold calves that heavy. Kept a steer for littlest H to show next year and one late calf we will feed out for our beef. I sure hate to sell the bull that throws calves that weigh up like they did. But spring brings his third crop of calves and I have his mother and two daughters. So I reckon a trip to the sale barn will happen in a few weeks when I can get away from work on a Wednesday.

Hope y'all get great prices and you have soggy calves when y'all sell. May we all get the moisture we need and the market stays strong so we can go another year. And hope all the crazy inflation driven BS ends soon. Remember that when ya vote next month.

Congratulations on such a heavy weight. The bulls didn't cause it by themselves, more so good management and great cows.
