Here are a few I took when we branded Junior the other day........
Finally got him down.......
Of course, those curious little goats had to see what was going on..........
We hauled him down and put him out with the rest of our little herd.....here Al is taking the rope off his neck. We just about didn't get him loaded into the trailer, and he'd been spending most of his time, loading himself into it!!!!!!
Just before he found the rest of the bunch......they were just up the hill, out of range of the camera.......
He now has a billboard across his right side, EVX on hip, rib and shoulder........neither of us could remember Dale's earmark, so he's still slick-earred......but they would have been butchered up, too. Not sure why Al put Dale's brand on him, instead of his own, but...........Dale was pretty happy, when he found out!
