I've beeen on this site for a long time but am now just getting smart enough to try and post

This is what happens when a hereford bull has his way with a black baldy cow

A baldy calf that I'm hopin will make weight

This one will probably be in the replacement pen next month

a steer calf the end of July when things were still green

Happy cows with shade trees which other than creeks are far and few in between

A certain poster on this site should recognize this view, it's not more than 3 or 4 miles from his house

A little cold when she was born but ya know what she seems to have calves with a full set of ears every year. Too bad the buyer didn't know that!

I think she just quenched her thirst.

Yep- sometimes you don't even have to look up an eartag number to know what year a cow was born- just look at the ears and tail and remember the winter....

I recognize the country, about 4 miles up the creek from me. I had it down to a pretty short list as to who you were. The pictures just answered the question.
