This is from a few months back. The two horses are full brothers a year apart. The two Year old, "Shotgun" was due to go to the trainers, so I thought the day before would be a good time to make sure he loaded. i set aside three hours to do so, he loaded first try. after a few dozen more loads, i had 2 hours left, so I decided to try the Yearling, "Charley"....He loaded within 10 minutes of haltering.
Both are gonna be smaller horses, but they have some good cow horse breeding and are put together wel;l enough that I don't think they will break down.......
BTW, befor you think I am a procrastinator, I did geld them 3 weeks before taking the two year old, LOL,
Not a lot of action. Wife kinda grabbed the camera after we were done. Besides, i don't want everyone to know all my secrets, lol...
After a good jb, everyone needs a treat, Shotgun loves green grass, wife doesn't mind as long as there is no mess on the yard, LOL...
Charley on the way to the trailer. He may have loaded a few times before...Notice the slack in the lead rope. He is a yearling that I am leading, not dragging, LOL.....I spend a lot of time on this. Charley is going through a growth spurt, he will fill out,
