The family migrated to Southern Utah for the long weekend. Three of my sons have Jeeps and like to explorer The Sand Dunes north of Kanab. There was no shortage of Las Vegas residence cluttering up the landscape. ATV's and Motor Homes everywhere. It gets really crowded out there on Holiday weekends.

Bryce Canyon is located about twenty miles to the north.

Zion Canyon Is about fifteen miles to the west.

My youngest son's "fun machine."

The Grand Kid thinks he can do everything his dad can do. It scares me just to watch.

This it the "Famous Choral Pink Sand Dunes" driving past at fifty miles per hour, on the way back home.

Our house is at the base of those white buttes.

Note the Jeeps up near the top of the picture.

Is that one of those pines with the great big cones? We brought a few 4" or 5" diameter cones home when passing through that kind of country some years ago. Not sure if it was in Nevada or Utah though. What picturesque country that is!

A hundred years ago, I found some of those pine cones you speak off in the same general area. I also found found three bleached deer heads with antlers, the size you dream about. The results of an exceptionally hard winter I'd guess.
