Well since nobodys been on here talking smack for a while I guess I will start. :D While my KC Royals didn't make the playoffs they did finish with a 86-76 record, the best since 1989. They were fun to watch all season. My other favorite team the Chiefs are 4-0. And while they don't look anything like the Broncos they are a lot more fun to watch than last year. And I think K State is closer to dropping the football program than the chiefs are as Jigs suggested about this time last year. :P

I caught myself watching the royals on tv the other day, I would have to say its nice to see them actually competing.

The Royals are my team, too! I hope they don't trade their guys away and they can keep improving next year.

As far as the MildCats go, I saw they were ranked 9th in the Big 12 conference. So much for them being relevant, regardless of what Jiggsy imagines. I know there is a lot of football yet to be played, but I don't see them being much of a threat to anybody except Kansas.

next two weeks will be painful....OSU, and Baylor.... fast high flying offenses vs our slow as molasses D.....9 new starters on D an o-line that needs to learn pass block, and a QB that is no Collin Klien ...... but I still love my Cats !

I think we could all agree that we hate Notre Lame?

Looks like my boy will end up going to Chadron State. Gonna head up for a visit at some point, but I sure like what I see and hear. Got to meet with the FB coach and the track coach while we are there.

Al Queda U??

I'd rather drown him and feed his carcass to some hogs!

Chadron is 411 miles from home. His mother will be bothered, but she'll get over it.

Hey loomix guy. What do you think of the resigning of Ned yost? I don't really think much of it. It's hard to can a guy when the team improves as much as they did but that was more the front office moves than his managing. I wish they could talk George Brett to manage the team. You would never be under prepared for a game for sure with him. Some times managers don't do squat to how good a team is, but I think yost hurts the players more than he helps. Look at Cleveland whith francona. How he's improved that team with mostly the same guys.
