Just a reminder to be careful out there. My wife's 27 year old cousin was killed by a bear over the weekend while camping with his fiancé. One might think that falling asleep in your chair by the fire would not be inherently dangerous, but I guess one never knows. It's a pretty heartbreaking deal.
We all spend a lot of time outside, so let's not take anything for granted out there.

What a tragic story. It was covered in the National Post. Totally a freak event that one would not expect. So sorry for the loss to your extended family.

That is extremely tragic. Was it a Black Bear, maybe one that had previous human contact? I wonder if a good dog could have prevented it. Very sorry for your family's loss.

That is a tragedy that is hard to imagine happens in 2015. Prayers for the family and friends who are suffering the loss of a loved one. In my mind that seems even harder to accept than the crazy accidents which happen, when on thinks of a camping trip as relaxation in a beautiful place.
