This appeals to me more than the Fourth of July fireworks, and it is a whole lot quieter. :-)

Stunning sunset pictures, thanks for posting them :D . It's also nice to see you still have some puddles. It's been raining here daily, really is going to be an incredible grass year.

We were blessed with an inch and eight tenths last night. That added to the inch and seven tenths during the past week adds up to three and a half inches of rain so far in June. It is making a world of difference. Ranching is fun again.

Just stepped outside to check the weather. The bullfrogs are singing their little hearts out. It's beautiful music to my ears. :-)

Nice pictures, you did a great job on the sunset pics. It is hard to get the colors sometimes. You're grass has sure greened up!

I'm glad that you are glad for your moisture......however, I am praying for a drier spell here. We haven't turned a wheel in over 3 weeks. I snuck out and put down 25 acres of hay last Thursday since there was just a slight chance of a shower. That brought us 2 inches. Tonight the forcasters are calling for another inch and another 1/2 to an inch tomorrow. There is more grass than what twice the number of our cows can eat. There are some pretty sick looking crops and of course the weeds are thriving but can't get in to spray. We are into our third year of way above normal precip.....like around 168% of normal according to the newspaper. Frankly, it is getting quite discouraging. Wish we could spread the water around evenly......but we have to leave that up to the great God in heaven.
