Lots of time in these young horses, and a long way to go before either one of them will be worth their keep...........sure am missin my ole gray horse,I bought him finished, been along time since I had a young horse, guess I forgot how much time you can get in one of them, but on the plus side, the gray is coming along pretty good, seems pretty smart and eager to please.
good luck & Happy New Year.

What the heck happened to his mane?

You didn't ROACH it did you?

Yes,I trimmed his feet and mane few days ago, that little gray horse is not mine, and the owner likes him trimmed,I want to look at him some more before I buy him, dont wanna get horse poor again................good luck

PS How was your Christmas,I know you were a good girl all year, surely santa didnt miss that :D

Oh yes, I was very good. How about you?

I spent Christmas in Oklahoma and Texas, how about that?
It wasn't warm, but it sure was better than Montana and South Dakota!

Just giving you a little razzin' about roaching the mane. Since he isn't yours, you can now buy him $500 cheaper than if his mane wasn't roached.
:P

...and that's a fact!

I had a sorrel clabber bars colt that was made just like that gray (like to see his wheels). He never grew enough wither to hold a saddle all day if he was cutting or was heading, but I never had to school him to hunt a cow. I sold him for alot, but he'd have been a high priced horse with a little more wither.
