He'd be more than welcome to walk on at Lincoln. Article kinda reads like the kid and his Dad know how to whine. Let the 'rents pay some tuition. Lots of parents do. I sure have. It's damn sure not fatal. If he's as good as they say, he'll get a scholarship soon enough, and at the school of HIS choice.

He could always go the juco route. Ron Prince's replacement would be sure to snag him then. :wink:
