That is fairly close to me. 470 cows would be plenty.

Jody, my friend from that side of the river got back to me but isn't sure about what place it is either. Agrees with Doug and I about the 600 head. IMO that is a optimistic figure for a REALLY wet year! :wink: The dirt is sure blowing today in this wind!

You could sell 600 calves off the place if you bought pairs in the spring and sold opens and calves as early as possible and then bought 1.5 ton hay per cow.
