First off, I plead guilty.  I did use the word "blacks" before I edited it this morning to read "those who would cast their votes for us."  For this I apologize, and that is why it was changed.

Blkbuckaroo, I truly respect you and meant this not as any offense to you or to anyone else.  As far as me casting a vote for President, I would have voted easily for either Colin Powell or Condaleeza Rice (both of which are black) before I would have voted for John McCain (who is white).  They are both more conservative than Mr. McCain.  I didn't not vote for Obama because of his color--I voted against him because of his ultra-liberal political views.

It was disappointing to me that Colin Powell endorsed Obama.  I would make a bet with anyone that had Hillary Clinton won the Democratic nomination for President, Mr. Powell would have endorsed McCain instead.

Racism is politically incorrect, especially if it is done by white people.  Putting the shoe on the other foot, look at how the blacks banded together to vote in their man Obama.  I would be interested to know how many black people voted for the John McCain-Sarah Palin ticket.  Not many, I'll bet.  But racism if followed by black people is not to be condemned.

Believe it or not, when I took my photos during the day yesterday, none were done with the captions in mind.  As I was ready to post them last evening, the captions just fell into place.  For those of you who are offended, suck it up.  Your stuff offends me sometimes, too, but I do believe in free speech.  Once again, I have nothing at all against black people.  They are born that color.  All of us must play with the cards we are dealt.  Liberals don't have to be liberals.  They can turn their lives around and be an asset to society instead of a burden.

I, too, wish the best for Obama's Presidency.  If his ideas work and he doesn't screw things up worse, I will be one of the first to offer him congratulations.  Until he proves to be successful, I will remain sceptical but supportive.
