In the 50's we roped, broke and gentled wild horses for Military Sites like Vincent Air Force Base Dude String in Yuma Arizona.

In the 70's we were "licensed" by the State and Government to catch (rope) wild Burrows, in the Saline Valley. Some other people would drive the valley, shoot Burrows and "Let Them Lie".

A story:
In the 60's a friend and I were allowed onto the "China Lake Navel Air Station" to help control wild horses that were getting on Run Ways. We brought 2 wild horses to the Modesto, Ca. Horse Auction to Help Pay our expenses. At the Pay Window 2 Indians claimed the Wild Horses and "Got The Check"
