Too much snow to be calving, already have lost more calves than last year. But we haven't killed them all.

Sorry to hear about your losses GCreek,Cattle look well wintered though.Hope you have better luck with the rest, the weather can't stay crappy forever :? or can it :???: .

Welcome to the calving party :-). Your cattle are in fantastic shape, especially for the winter you've had (does it ever change from winter there?). My calving average has been great, but I'm sure it's going to change with all this weather we've had... always seems to average out one way or the other . Hope you don't lose anymore in the creek :?.

Lots of snow. Hopefully it stays warm for you. That old sun has a lot of power these days and really seems to help calves fire on all cylinders so to speak.
We have started at home with two on the ground. It is 100% guaranteed they are not out of our bulls, but instead are the result of a breakdown in our defence. From the look of the bull that got through the lines last summer, those calves are going to need the extra month. :D

Weather here is described as 9 months winter and 3 months poor sledding.
Things are looking up, there are 4 live ones already today. Due day is day after tommorow and we already have 35 out of the cows that were bred here. Better go feed.

Yes, your cattle look darn good gcreek. I'm starting to wonder about you southerners and your weather though! Hope your luck improves.

Hang in there buddy! Just think how big those calves will be at weanin' time! You'll be rolling in cash! Hope all goes well for ya and the weather cooperates too.

Good luck, things will get better...they always do. Just had a straggler have a set of twins...should I send one up?
