This is pretty sad!!

Pretty sad deal. A person hears of stuff like this every once in awhile and this isthe press that the consumer sees. And the worst part is hardly any of the non-farm public will ever hear of how good every other producer is caring for his animals, thats the bad thing everyone remembers the bad and forgets the good.
Thanks for sharing!!!

This was about 50 miles from me - - - I have turned in my brother-in-law for abuse to cats repeatedly for over 10 years to the state police, sheriff's dept. humane society both local and national but untill things get very bad nobody seems to care. The local sherirr's office has pictures rangeing from 15 to 25 cats in the trailer and after a cold snap down to 6 then a month later back to 20. Getting caught by these people is a death sentence for the cats involved!
They keep a 10' camper trailer and put every cat they can catch in it - - - no power so in the summer the cats die from heat ( they feed and water every couple of weeks ) and in the winter they die from freezing or having to lick ice.
He and his wife have been investigated several times and cry and tell the officials how much they love these cats - - - some will be taken away but they drive the county roads and pick up more.
They are now in HUD housing and the camper is right outside their door so maybe things will get better or all the other people in the appt complex will ban together due to the stink and get something done!

When things like this happen it is breaking news. Still it seems there must be more to the story. I wonder about the mental condition of the people involved in things like that.
