Red Flag warning for all of central South Dakota:

CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS EXPECTED FOR SATURDAY
AFTERNOON AND EVENING...
...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM CDT /2 PM MDT/ TO
9 PM CDT /8 PM MDT/ SATURDAY FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY
FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONES 267...268...269 AND 270...
* AFFECTED AREA...IN SOUTH DAKOTA...FIRE WEATHER ZONES 267...
268...269 AND 270.

* WINDS...SOUTH 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...15 TO 20 PERCENT.

* IMPACTS...ANY FIRES THAT DEVELOP WILL LIKELY SPREAD RAPIDLY.

A RED FLAG WARNING MEANS THAT CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS
ARE EITHER OCCURRING NOW...OR WILL SHORTLY. A COMBINATION OF
STRONG WINDS...LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY...AND WARM TEMPERATURES CAN
CONTRIBUTE TO EXTREME FIRE BEHAVIOR.

We've been in one all week here in north central Ne, it's scary dry here for March. Sure hope we get some moisture soon or it'll be a long summer :mad:

Wish y'all had some of our moisture. It just won't quit here, gravel roads have fallen through worse than I have ever seen and the Mississippi River is going to 33'. That will put some some pivots and wells under water for me. It's not unexpected but it's just more jobs.

I read last night on facebook where TTB said there were fires around their area and to please pray for the firefighters and
those in the area of the fire. This is only March. We need to pray for safety for the firefighters, the area involved and for moisture to come soon.
