I think that if Southern Ontario would get another team, the Leafs would have to shape up and put some real efforts into putting a winning team out there again in order to maintain tickets sales.

Maybe that's what is blocking Balsillie's shots?

In his past futile efforts, Balsillie has tried to get a team into Hamilton. I'm not sure how big the ice surface is, but the seating capacity of Copps's Coliseum is 19,000. Of course, Toronto thinks it will get a second team.

Some have suggested London and in its favor would be its location - 1.5 hr. to Toronto, 1.5 hr. to Buffalo, NY., 2 hrs. to Windsor/Detroit, 1 hr to Hamilton, 1/2 hr to Kitchener Waterloo, etc.

Yup, I think the Leafs would feel the heat and it would be good for the Eastern division. Well that's assuming it would land in the Eastern division.
