Did anyone else see the article on the front page of the TriState Livestock News? In 1906 it was 50 below zero in Snake River WY. It just reminded me that March can be as ugly as it can be beautiful when it comes to weather. A year ago this week wasn't too nice either if I remember right. Sure is nice now.

It was beautiful here yesterday morning...Then just afternoon it clouded up and the wind began to howl- temps dropped...The Canadians sent us down a little reminder of what March can do...
Next day or two are supposed to be more of the same with scattered snow flurries...Temp now is 26 - with 20+ mph winds....
Only had 1 calf yesterday during the nice weather- watch now they should really start dropping!!

i was thinking about that aswell. it was a year ago yesturday we got 20-24 inches of snow and trying to figure out just where in the hell to start digging out. that was the start of a long and ugly 3 weeks.
