Ticks ?

Hey Big Muddy,
Not sure how many mules you have there but this stuff works great!
http://www.bayerdvm.com/Products/Co-Ral/co-ral.cfm I um er uh have brought it across the border a few times. Honestly mr. Border guard man I have no idea how that would get in my trailer? Weird :)

Lilly, They dont sell alot of stuff with chemical in it here ( you know the kind of stuff that actually works  ) My biggest pet peeve in the strongid daily wormer! We arent allowed to bring it across the border any longer. grrrrrr

I found a product at the local farm supply. It is call "Ulta Boss" pour on insecticde. It is labeled safe for horses. It says it is for control of flies, ticks, and lice. I put it on all my horses and all my cow dogs. It has done a great job here for flys and ticks. This has been the worst year ever for ticks on my horses. It says not to saddle horses for 6 hours after application. Just pour it down their backs. Says use no more than every 2 weeks if needed. I'm impressed so far. Paul

Thanks guys. With 40 horses kicking around I sure need something.
Took 5 fillies to a saddle bronc school today. They did a nice job for their first time out. We ride brothers and sisters of these but they have attitudes that might take them far. Funny that 2 of them half a half sister that is kid safe.

LOL Brad Paisley's new song, "I wanna check you fer ticks"

I was driving down the highway the other day- when I heard that for the first time- started laughing so hard about what a "pickup line" that could make this year- and almost choked on my snuce and wrecked.....

Yep ticks are terrible around here-- dogs, horses, kids, everything-- found one crawling on my computer mouse pad the other day- must have dropped off me somewhere...

I like the stuff they call Poridon for the horses that are out on pasture-pour a strip down their back- and its supposed to last a week or so :???: ...For the saddle horses and those getting handled often, I also use Zonk-It....Seems to work as good as any on flys and mosquitos and it has lanolin and aloe which has a nice smell and puts a shine on the horses....
