It finally worked oput chemo wise that I could go on a roadtrip with Emily's hockey team-she's playing tier one boys hockey-there are only 4 girls in the whole league. You only improve playing against people better than you so that's why she plays there. She wasn't getting much ice at forward so I got the coach to move her to defense-she's getting 30 minutes a game now and really improving.

Little girls can pin big boys.

Good body position-th
e other player in green is her other girl teammate-she's a power forward.

Gotcha

My boy plays on a mixed boy girl team. He says the girls are distracting. (in a good way) Those Sask boys might get a little distracted too.

Were in Vermillion for a tournament this weekend-all I can say is they better keep their heads up-the other girl on our team is our best hitter. Emily doesn't splash people but she's good along the boards. When the sweater goes on they're all hockey players to me.

Me too, in fact it is hard to tell the difference. Same for my boy, the distraction is off the ice, they are full on competitors on the ice. My cousins girl plays on a competitive Midget girls team. They missed the Max this year for the first time but are coming on strong and are in the hunt. That is fast skilled hockey.

Emily got approached about AAA summer hockey so I guiess we'll see how that goes-be nice to go watch a daughter at the Mac's. Not sure where she'll play next year-tier one boys bantam in Sask. is pretty tough-no tier above it so your playing future nhl'ers.
