We just returned from Oklahoma to see the Timed Event Championship. It wound up being a nail biter and the 2014 Champion wasn't decided till the last steer!!!
The final round will be broadcast on RFD-TV at 6 pm MDT. (At least I think it was 6 pm, if not, 7 pm). Last I looked it wasn't on the schedule but they said it would be aired on Wednesday evening. I think you'll enjoy watching it. I tried to take some pictures, but my camera isn't good inside with fast action. I don't know how to set it...
The horse (a stud) Robert Duvall rode in "7 Days in Utopia" was there and Justin McKee always remarked about it. He was used in Heading and Calf Roping. I guess Robert Duvall was around the horse, really liked him and asked if he could ride him in the movie. I did get a picture of the stallion, so I'll try and post one.
Interesting that we left in snow, got to Oklahoma and it was only 37 degrees on Saturday. Then Sunday was much nicer. We visited friends at Stillwater Sunday evening and spent the night. Monday the temperature in Kansas was 81 degrees. Tuesday morning we found out there was a big snowstorm in SD.......Spearfish got 8" of new snow. So, when we got here, here it was all white........37 degrees.........oh well, supposed to be 58 tomorrow.
