It's right a freezing but the wind is screaming blowing snow. zero visability with snow sticking to the roads. Two killed between Regina and Moose Jaw on the Trans Canada/interstate hiway this afternoon. Lots of vehicles in the ditch. My son was hauling oil but could off load because the truck ahead of him was stuck. The roads will need plowing in the morning. They we pretty good this morning.

Sounds Heavenly! We had a warm west snow eating wind today. Not strong enough to rearrange snow, just reduction.

its pretty tuff here this winter too. Forcast for 67 today and 69 tomorrow. have some help for tomorrow, so we will ride and rough it    . I sure miss the north country and frozen toes

Sounds awful, nmhigh!! :-) Don't know how you stand it!

It has stayed steady cold here with some snow every day. This morning it was hanging around -20 which is fairly cold in itself, but a light wind came up at dawn and made it feel like -50. Not fun. I did a bit of indoors feeding and sent the boys out to do the tractor work . . . . I call it the "old man's privilege"!

Friend of ours was heading to a party last night. At midnight she still wasn't home, her husband wasn't too worried at that time. By 2 am, she wasn't back either, and when he phoned the place where the party was, they hadn't seen her. They found her about 9 am this morning. Stuck in a snowbank on one of the 'less travelled' roads in the area. She was fine, had stayed in the vehicle until help arrived. Pretty scary stuff, even though is wasn't that terribly cold.
