When the KSU baller was convicted of raping boys (and the purples accuse Jayhawks of being gay) the excuse was ignorance. "who knew?"

When Thuggs wanted to recruit convicted ssexual predator Tyree Evans (nobody else would have him but thuggs), Weiser said NOOOO. Now, after a year at Butler CC, it looks like thuggs is bringing Evans to KSU. I knew all along Evans was at Butler to cool off - besides KSU doesn't need the shooter until Wooly's seniors graduate.

The gory details: the little girl raped by Evan's crew was never penetrated by Evans - Evans was the lookout and wacked his weasil during the event.

Don't worry Jigs, Sandhusker is generous enough to loan you some Husker Crimson, or you can embrace....rape. What's that song - boomer Husker? Its kinda fetching, no? The trouble with selling your soul is you get Huggy filth and still can't beat Kansas.

are you sure he is coming to KSU? from what I have read is he is not getting in. I sure do hope they keep up a set of standards.....we start letting criminals on the team, we will be just like Nebraska.

Hiring Huggy Bear is going to come back and bite them hard some day. That was a huge mistake - there are plenty of good coaches out there.

I can't really say all I know, but yes, Evans is on now. RELAX, Evans is such a cancer he'll be gone before hoops season begins 10/15. I think Weiser is letting Evans join on 10/15 thinking he proves good until then or they flush him without ever being in purple. As you may already know, Evans was kicked off Butler CC by Randy Smithson this year for misconduct - most community colleges in Kansas don't have much in the way of standards in the first place, and Randy Smithson is the worst, well now that the Barton county bunch are all in prison. The prison stuff got close to Huggy and Quinn Snyder, but the big boys are much too savy to expose themselves most of the time. Evans is unquestionably great, and has skills that compliment an incredible collection of talent coming to KSU next year. It will be good watching whether they make a big run or embarrass the hell out of KSU.

I do not follow the round ball much, but I was under the impression that KSU got the top high school senior to commit for this fall.

as for Evans, he sounds like a guy who just needs a good old fashioned ash whoopin!
If Snyder was in charge of the AD dept. none of this would be relevant. I wish he would take that position!!! but some say he wants to coach again.


I just am glad to see the Cats doing good in basketball again. however, "at any cost" is NOT the way I want to see it happen

Mike Beasley is on all top 10 lists some #1 others higher. No one knows exactly how a kid converts to D1. Kevin Durrant had similar rankings last year, and turned out to be the best freshman to ever play ball (wilt and Kareem/Lew, big O, pistol couldn't play as frosh).

Don't worry about Evans, he'll deserve what he gets. If he stays clean, he's a multimillionaire. If not, bars and concrete. Amazing how close some kids come and still can't stay out of trouble.

Snyder seems to have aged alot - old age is not real charitable to football players.


Cats are dancing (I don't consider NIT as dancing), but more importantly, their fans are back. You remember Nebraska Football struggling, but they always kept their support. Kansas FB is such a challenge because of weak support.

millionaire or prison.... that pretty much sums up any kid going to play NCAA ball. they are all a crapshoot! big ego's, hidden money, and girls all lead to a dark path.


fan support is important, I don't like to see the fair weather fans at Manhattan. people walking out bitching about the players not giving it their all
or stupid stuff like that, ought to give away the season tickets.

Great to see Bramlage packed again, now if we can just beat the squawks!

as for KU football, I see high schools with a better attendance record! so the hawks got a ways to go. maybe the crowds are there, you just can not see them because Mangino is taking up the whole view

Kansas averaged almost 50k in 2006 - times they are a changin.
