Ty's buddy hadn't got his buck yet so we took him out this A'M -we hunted hard all morning in some logging areas and passed up six bucks. Just after dinner the boys jumped this dude-one got on the track and the other circled him and put him down. He measures 168 6/8-his smallest mass measurement is 5 4/8-never had this much luck hunting ever.

NR, I think you should just give it up and keep your knife sharp so you can take care of the critters the kids put down for you. I have, almost. Last night there were 5, four points we could see with the spotting scope outside the house. Of course MCG thinks that none of them are big enough but I would bet that two of them would go 160. If these would get some mass like that whitey, we would have something but most of them tend to be very tall and spindley, 25 wide and 25 tall, but I think that one of those from last night has some mass, getting too dark to see him very well. He may fall to a TC contender just for grins

You guys have sure shot some nice bucks this year, you must be awfully proud of your kids.Looks like Dad has his work cut out for him now  .Good luck.
