Up date on shootout.

They got 3 men in jail as of Thursday afternoon. They caught two that had taken the washer dryer and stove two weeks ago. They also got one that was shot steeling wire Monday. They would not tell on the others involved but I expect they too will be caught.
A trooper has been parked across the road from the hay field most of yesterday and this morning.
We ask about the condition of the one that the land owner shot and all they told us was that it was not life threating.

Granted, rightly nothing should but these days you can never tell.

The judge in our county would have shot him himself. No the land owner was within his rights.

Glad they caught some of the culprits. Hope you don't have to use that new pistol, but it is a good insurance policy anyway. It might even come in handy for copperhead control. :wink:
