I'm hick enough I didn't know Verizon FiOS TV existed. What area has that network? (If it is a network  )
We love RFD-TV and I always get a bit nervous when there is a discussion about it being off the air. I don't think
this affects us as we have DirectTV, but it will affect others, depending on location.

Verizon FiOS is Verizon's all fiber network for voice, data, and TV. It is available in limited markets where Verizon is the LEC (local phone company). This used to be a pretty big footprint, but through recent sales, it is now basically the Mid-atlantic states. Given the population density and demographics of these states, it is a safe bet that RFD-TV wasn't a very popular channel.

I used to love RFD but their love affair with all things horses has about run its course with me. Do they still show the Superior auctions anymore?

Not on RFD TV. I think they have a sister network that carries the Superior auctions, but I'm not sure. The horse programming is most likely their big tie in with the so called urban market. Folks who may live in the city but own a hoss or two and board them somewhere.

I really enjoyed watching the PRS, but they ceased operation, and that left a big void in their Wednesday night programming, IMO.
