A drain tile that my Dad had put in 25 years ago it is 6" and a 1/4 mile long with 8, 4" tiles tied into it.

There is going to be nearly a mile of ditch cleaned when were done this meadow has been so damp lately we haven't hayed more than once every 5 years its so dry right now you can drive a pickup any where last year there was 12" of water everywhere. We trapped and shot nearly 20 beavers than blew 2 beaver dams now a ditch cleaning. Were going to hay the wire grass off it than disc it and seed it down with something canary, timothy clover or whatever will grow there.Last we hayed it we got 280 6x6 bales.

Alot of people on here want water this is headed to the Gulf of Mexico this will run into Mosquito Creek than into the Crow Wing River than the Mississippi River and finally the Gulf of Mexico.I am glad to see it go.

I never get over looking at that eastern BLACK dirt--- Every time I've gone east of the Red River I just drool over how nice some of that farm land looks-- even your swampland

Everything around here is blowsand, riversand, gravel, or gumbo....
