Finally getting my Hereford Heifers branded...

The brand DB quarter circle is my g-pa's brand..a very early Nebraska Brand...

Not a very good pose..but this is one of the herefords I got from Rancher member Doug...Thanks Doug!!!

Back to reality of winter...Cold Cows Crunching Cake..lol

Nice pictures, Jassy. It is wonderful that you are keeping your granddad's brand going on Herefords that he loved.

Those Sandhill scenes look familiar. We had swans flying overhead a few days ago, too. Temperatures were in the 60's last week, and as I type this it is minus 1. Sounds like a couple fairly nice days ahead, and back to cold hard winter again by the end of the week. You just never know in Nebraska. :?

When my g-pa settled into the sandhills...he had nothing but Herefords...they were the "in" cattle at the time..well since he passed away all the Herefords were gone off this ranch..so I decided to bring em and the brand back...Another coinicidence is that the brand that Doug uses on his Herefords is also his g-pa's...So it was meant to be...
