If any cow needs a ride to town it's gonna take some shovels and a loader.

Drifts ~ cows and a hayrack on the other side.

Fall calves bunching up to try and survive the storm.

We put all the heavies that were left together trying to get them close to the house and with lots of wind protection.

After the storm it's so windy the milkcow chaser has to shut his eyes.

We aren't coming out it's not windy in here.

Buford doesn't like the snow, however he got to hang out with the heavies because of it.

Yep, you certainly do have drifts :D It has drifted here, but nothing exceptionally bad. I still can't use the wheeler to check heavies, but with only eight left to calve, it's not a big deal. So far the pairs are doing well, and the sun is out today, and so they should be fine. The wind is blowing though (what a surprise).

Your calves look good, and are smart to be out of the weather. Good luck tunneling out... or maybe just wait for the warm-up this weekend, that's my plan :-) .

Well just hang on there for a day or two...It's suppose to warm up alot next week,,and maybe it'll all melt before ya have to shovel out to much! I think you got more snow than us,,,but we both got winds and drifts!

:( Ya coulda kept that crap in the West...ya didn't have to send it to Wisconsin. We have had enough winter. 50 mile winds yesterday, had a hiefer that calved, couldn't find the calf as I couldn't see 20 feet. Finally fond it this morning in a snow bank. We are supposed to get another 8 inches tonight.

I guess I got off lucky. We had 6 inches of wet stuff, no wind. When snow stopped it blew 24 to 40 mph moving the snow some, but not nuthin like you got. The water part is sure welcome. Hope it wasn't too expensive of a storm for ya.
