We weaned about a week ago. Today we ran cows back out to grass. When I got to the yard, Dad had already run the young bunch out, but he had my old Kenway rigging on his new horse and was towing him behind his old saddle horse. I rode the newbie (hancock x driftwood QH) using the outfit I rode growing up but have not ridden more than once or twice in the last 10 years.
Some older cows

Not very many pics today as cows were being somewhat rambunctious and I was concentrating on teaching/learning with a new horse.
Cows are now out on grass until sometime in January or until the snow gets 2 feet deep, then home to swaths and some bale grazing.
Calves will go back out on grass in a week or so, once they have settled down a bit more.

I'd have to get off the horse to do that!!!
I'll try to remember at the next gate...
