We brought the big bunch home yesterday, but didn't wean as the calves were pretty tired. We did pull the calves off the young bunch, as well as castrate/vaccinate a calf that was over at the neighbour's and missed the drill here. Today I pulled the big calves in and weaned them off in a race to beat the snow.

Your cattle look good. I am not a real big fan of snow, but I will sure take any moisture we can get.

About a foot last night and another 4 inches or so projected tonight. I am beginning to think we are at GCreek or Silver's places. No school buses running today within a 50 mile radius.

Nope, you ain't here! :D

About 2 inches at home and bare ground at Morrison Meadow 600 ft elevation difference.

Don't worry, we'll likely catch up.
