Can anyone give me a website where helpful compter users communicate? I'm 67 yrs young, and did not grow up in the compter era. I have questions which are probably primative in the world of software.

I find that forums are a community of knowledgeble people who like to give good advice. Just like here at Ranchers.net.
Anyway, if you know the website of helpful computer uses, please share.
Thanks,
Skidboots

I'm fair on most computer questions, so if you can't find help elsewhere, ask me.

At the Oklahoma forum at http://www.city-data.com/forum/oklahoma/216446-okie-tech-thread.html we have a tech thread where two or three professionals help folks out. One guy got a lot of help when he converted his machine from Vista to Linux there.

I don't know anything about them, but this is one of the ones that my wife uses. She said it was probably one of the most concise ones.

I've never been to it, but I remember her saying that if a new poster had a question, they should try to use the search first because a lot of the "experts" there were....I don't remember exactly what she called them. Pricks, is what she meant, though.
