To brand calves
After the cattle were in the corral, Peach fed them their daily dose of hay. This is a great incentive for the cows to leave their babies to go eat.
Since the vaccine guns hold 27 doses without reloading, we do 27 calves at a time. While Peach reloads the vaccine guns,
we get in another draft of 27 calves and trade roping responsibilities.

My sister loads the wheels, coils the ropes, and hands the lariats to the roper. The Kosmo Kid and I trade doing the roping and castrating.
