Went to town my cows were in a river pasture, when I came home I see the neighbor to the south had fed his cow's way on the south side of his field. Also my neighbor the east across the river had fed his cows in a pasture south of his house, and my cows were on the neighbor's fence to the south. A little while later my cows were back in the River pasture, when I went to do chores tonight they were on the south fence, but on my way home they were on the east fence. So I got the tractor and Rex we got a couple round bales and went almost to the bottom of the meadow when we saw our cows coming thru the willows in the neighbors to the east place, we got them fed back in my river pasture in the dark. Then went to fix fence in tractor lights, luckily they had only rubbed the gate open. Found out the neighbor to the east today that his cows went into the outfit to the south, but when he got down there with his tractor they came home and he didn't have to sort one cow. Well I guess it the grub line till spring now.

Your cows thank you, jody. :D :P

We got 18 inches of snow a month ago so we have been at it since then. I actually like feeding cows, call me weird. The rain we have had, have the pasture boys out west here foaming at the mouth and the cattle trucks in high gear.

Join the club. We've been feeding hay to our younger stock for about three weeks. The middle-aged cows are still grubbing out in the hills, and seem to be doing alright so far.
