We shipped yearlings today and it poured the whole time-the totally hot soaking wet woman is my wife Shauna-there's Megan and her BF Justin and Ty's the cripple with the wrapped wrist. Justin is a pretty good scout not from a ranch outfit but he's not afraid to help out. We've had rain all weekend so hopefully will have some carryover grass now some more cattle are sold. Never done this before-hopefully not a real expensive lesson.

Glad you got rain Corey, too bad it hadn't come two weeks ago and made your options a little greater.
Hopefully the dollar is down again tommorow. Good luck.

BTW, Good looking crew you had to help out.

Great looking crew, Northern Rancher. Glad you are getting some rain. Ty is tough--a little old broken hand doesn't slow him down. He comes from tough stock. We are praying for your health to improve rapidly so you are back to normal as soon as possible. The nice rain will green up the country and put a kiss on everyone's owies. :-)

Yeah I'm blessed with a great family-I was wise enough to marry an awesome woman I'm glad the kids throw back to her. It poured most of the night so the country should get some sort of hay crop-I'll get this little health hiccup over with than give er guns next year again. Gcreech lookin' forward to the Williams Lake trip again for sure.

Great you got some rain and had some time to share some pictures. Hope you continue to feel better.

Started with 1/2" on Friday night here. There was a wedding on Saturday for a young couple from our neighbourhood and the mood was great. I don't think they would have minded if the wedding was rained out. We have had a good showers since then, and may actually put our swath grazing into the ground in the next week or two.
This will really bugger up some crop insurance claims and may result in more available feed this fall.
The weird thing, with all the late frosts and dry weather is that the wild saskatoon berries look like they will make a bumper crop. How they dodged all those bullets I will never know.

Nice to see pictures of your family, NR and that you are moving
forward. I hope you are feeling better each day.

As for that all-girl crew, Mr. FH will take girl helpers any day!!
I'd say you'll be just fine with them helping out. I'm really
a bit envious. We don't have young folks around us much any
more and I really miss 'em. Keeps ya young.

Nice looking family...good to see Ty smiling with the cast....Looks like Emily goes to the same hairdresser Hanna {aka Rainbow Bright} goes to.... :)
