Last year the month of June we got just less than 0.4" of rain 13 90F or higher and 3 100F days.
This year the month of June is just shy of 7" of rain and it might make it over the 7" mark by midnight and so far 88F is the highest we have had for the year, mostly the upper 70s and lower 80s
Crops and livestock sure show the difference, soybeans over waist high and corn about 6' tall. So far I have 3 of 5 pastures that I have not turned into ( wish they were level enough to bale ) and the cattle are still in 3' tall grass - - - the first pasture has gone to seed and I'm going to bush hog what I can. Sure is easy for calves to hide when they just lay down anywhere and disappear!
I guess if we don't get covered with snow I will be able to pasture year round - - - already put up more hay than I did all last year!
