There is a bird, or birds here that looks like a Dove. A little smaller and some slimer then a Mourning Dove. It has a light brown breast and back, it's wings are a bit darker. It's call is cuk-eroo-cuk. Haven't seen or heard it until the last couple of years. Comes here early about mid Aprol, stays all summer. I haven't really seen it until this year but have heard it's call before. I thought it might be the Rain Crow as they are often hidden in thick foliage, but now I have seen it more often in the open. Has a small dove-like head. Have had the Rain Crow,or Yellow Billed Cukoo here, but they usually don't show up until mid June.
