Rush Limbaugh was telling about a Sea Otter, rescued and cleaned up after the EXXON Valdez spill. There was a big release back in to the wild ceremony with plenty of volunteers, onlookers and media. They cheered and wept joyful tears as he swam out--only to be eaten right in front of their eyes by a Killer Whale ! Nature's a byatch.
Last summer. I was showng my grandson a "locust", a cicada that'd just emerged from his shell. ( The kind you always here droning in the background in movies about the South) I let him check it out then he flew away off my finger and a Blue Jay swooped down from out of nowhere and snatched him in mid-air in nothing flat.
A good Nature lesson.
