#7 was mine. Taken in Johnson City, Texas this summer.

Johnson Settlement:
Lyndon Johnson's grandfather and great-uncle established a cattle droving headquarters here in the 1860s. Their log cabin and subsequent barns, cooler house, and windmill are still here. There is also a modern exhibit center focusing on the cattle business, early Johnson family and settlement history, and Hill Country survival. A chuckwagon and longhorn cattle round out the "cowboy" atmosphere.

That is a great old barn. I thought i was one of the first to vote and it had 7 votes already. WOW

Agreed.

I'll have you know that I was the numero uno voter. Surprised as heck when the results came up and my vote was 100%.
Great photo Lilly.

Oh, somethin else I failed to mention. The day we stopped by there it was 100+ degrees outside. When you stepped into the barn...just like it sets...with the doors open, it felt like it was about 20 degrees cooler in there. The rock walls are about 2 ft thick.
