Well we moved the whole herd home today to get the 'surprises' Mom home-nothing like the winter light on a cold day.

NR; You definately have more snow than us southeners; My cows abandoned the swath grazing ( it was about used up anyway) and made the 2 mile trek home as soon as the wind died down after the storm. They were in a hurry, made a straight beeline home.....didn't even go around the deeper drifts, just bogged through! I guess they're welfare bums for the rest of the winter now :???: :???:

Hey nr,
I know it's cold, and now you've got extra chores on your hands, but those pics bring me a lot of nostalgia.
They say you can never go home again, but that was pretty darn close!
Thanks!
Gulchy

As soon as the plows open up some feedgrounds they're going back out west lol. Pretty ccol they've got a cowpath on a ridge of stockpiled manure it's about 6 feet high but right at snow level.
