We have wolves here. See them and a lot of sign ,but I have not had any problem yet. Northwest of here a fella claims he loses 10% of his calves every year. Nieghbor here lost his dog to a wolf. Dog was tied up in the back yard. DNR paid for the loss. Coyotes took a light weight steer a couple years ago. They got it along a fence line and ran it to death like they do deer. Elk herd is just north of us so maybe that will keep them fed. I remember when I was a kid back in the late 50's my dad and uncles would try to get a wolf as there was a bounty on them. That was in Minnesota. We have way too many Turkeys here so that may keep them off the cattle.
