The other day after work, my wife and I visited one of the local tack shops and feed stores. My wife Kat was browsing through the horse wormer stumbled across Safe-Guard Equi-Bites.Wormer made up of alfalfa pellets and etc.,I've always used paste wormer in past and always got good results back but I'm sure I'm not the only person alive havein a couple of horses that will sure nuff put up a fight come worming time so I picked up a couple of bags of it to try.

I think the pellet wormers are good stuff, especially for some one that dont wanna wrestle horses,I use the paste, halter and tie the horse to an iron rail and just go slow, just works better for me 2 times a year instead of mixin it into their feed all the time.
But I would'nt hesitate to use it if I could'nt handle the paste wormers some horses can and will hurt you tryin to get away, much easier to mix it into feed and let them worm themselves.
good luck

I use the liquid, seems to me it's ivomec. I pull some maple syrop into a syringe with no needle, then inject the wormer into that syringe. Once the horses get a bit used to it they will suck the wormer right out of the 'big syringe'.
From what I understand it doesn't hurt to switch up your worm medicine occasionally.
