I get so tired of all the yapping that goes on here. I come here to try and pick up a little good info that may be usefull on my farm. The problem is that no matter what the topic starts out to be it turns into us against them. That may be US vs Canada, or NCBA vs R-CALF of cattlemen against the packers. We are all in the beef business and if we can't get along we all lose.

Just my opinion, Johnny

Well, sometimes all of that yapping is far better natured than one might think.

Lots of those that yap back and forth know each other quite well.

Sort the wheat from the chaff and get involved - it really does make a difference.

A guy walks into the local welfare office for his monthly check. He marches straight up to the counter and says, "Hi. You know, I just HATE coming in here drawing welfare month after month. I'd really much rather have a job".The social worker behind the counter says, "Your timing is excellent. We just got a job opening from a very wealthy old man who wants a chauffeur-bodyguard for his nymphomaniac daughter. You'll have to drive around in his Mercedes, but he'll supply all of your clothes. Because of the long hours, meals will be provided. You'll be expected to escort her on her overseas holiday trips. You'll have a two-bedroom apartment above the garage. The starting salary is $200,000 a year". The guy says, "You're bullsh*tting me!" The social worker says, "Yeah, well, you started it."

Broke T what do you except on Bull session it is described on the index page as A no-holds-barred discussion of NCBA, R-CALF, COOL, USDA and the things that affect cattle prices. There are two and sometimes three or four sides to a story and Bull session is where they get sorted out. If you are tired of it maybe Ranch Talk would be a better fit for what you want.

Did you all notice who posted the common sense, helpful information for Broke T?

And please note as well who posted the smart aleck, useless, sometimes amusing, often childish and less than kind remarks!

The other divisions of ranchersnet are quite clearly labeled and for the main part people abide by the suggestions. All are interesting and there is beneficial and useful info posted on all of them from time to time.
