Wreck, sold my old 4040 JD combine. A semi and low boy showed up this afternoon. Already had the header off, ramps were not helping ,so I dug a hole for the trailer tires got the back end down close to the ground. Combine went up well, but one tire had more traction going over the wheel wells, So we made a snatch block got over the first well and it snapped, combine tire slipped off. Well bottle jacks , blocks chains we got the tire almost up to top of the bed. Back at it in the morning...... Oh why didn't the guy hire a drop deck????? :help:

Was a game of tenth of inches, Jack up , block , boomer a chain repeat. Then once we got it on we used 8 boomers and pulled the front tires up over the last wheel well. It got chained down there and the header got lifted in front of it.

got a call the combine when on her side when they unloaded, but I got paid before it left my place.
